   Hi Sue,

   I would like to reiterate my suggestion that all that land behind the Fraser Coast Council building in Tavistock St be used as a community vegetable garden until such time as the Council relocates & the land is sold.

   At the moment the land isn’t used for anything, it’s in the centre of town & accessible to most people. It’s such a terrible waste to have it just sitting there, when so many people could be actively engaged in growing their own vegies. Many pensioners, unemployed, apartment dwellers & keen gardeners would love it. There wouldn’t have to be any destruction of trees or disturbance of habitat for native animals.

   Could you please table the suggestion at the next Council meeting. It isn’t as if it is permanent & would not compromise the Council in any way. In fact it would earn them great press.

   Sue,
   Is it true $4000 worth of coffee machines were intalled in council offices?
   That some council officers have been provide with $70,000 cars
   complete with DVD players?
   That a senior council officer lives down the coast and since getting his
   job has been staying in a motel at ratepayers expence?

   Come on Sue, tell us it’s not true, please.
